Suffolk Tent and Party Rentals
Mike Elmasry, owner and operator of Suffolk Tent, and his wife started their business in 2013 with a single tent, and they now serve all of Nassau and Suffolk counties. Suffolk Tent is the ‘go to’ tent company for our Chamber of Commerce, as well as the former North Brookhaven Chamber of Commerce, both presided over by Jennifer Dzvoner – “I could always count on Suffolk Tent”.
Mike Povoromo, the chambers representative from Suffolk Tent, describes how the company began out of a love of hosting holiday parties and other events for their family and friends. They bought a tent, found themselves lending it over and over to family and realized there was a need. They now boast tents large enough for 300 people, and happily serve folks who are having small events requiring a few chairs and a table. They put up a thousand tents a year. With the holiday season upon us, Mike expects he will be handling lots of phone calls for tables, chairs, tents and even heaters to extend the family gathering on to the patio, deck or lawn. Suffolk Tent is affiliated with balloon artists, wait staff, face painters as well.
Suffolk Tent is the company used by the Port Jefferson Library, Port Jefferson Village, Mt. Sinai/ Miller Place Historical Society, the NYS Parks Department and the Sagamore National Historic Site Roosevelt Estate in Oyster Bay. They are affiliated with local charities including one out of Woodbury which holds gala fundraisers to support orphaned children. They competently provide personal customer service to each one.
