In today’s economy, shining a light on your business or non-profit is critical. Look to Frasca Design Group, and consider your promotional challenges solved.
At his studio, or at your location, Frank reviews your business needs, solving problems, explaining design and product options. He and the staff meet weekly, sharing inspiration, and the latest applications and innovations. Frank reflected on his grand opening, “The Port Jefferson Station/Terryville Chamber of Commerce hosted our ribbon cutting. It meant so much that the directors came in afterward, visited the studio space and engaged with us, toured two floors, excited as we were. You don’t get that everywhere else.” His daughter’s Intermezzo Studio is on the first floor. They bring their own positive energy to our events and network meetings. We had the pleasure of listening to members of the Intermezzo Studio youth choir perform at the Port Jefferson Station/Terryville Chamber of Commerce Flag Day. Under the tutelage of Creative director Isabella Scarpa, and instructor Julia Williams, these cherubic tykes belted out The Star-Spangled Banner, This Land is Your Land and other patriotic tunes at the flagpole garden at the Chamber Train Car. Among the festivities, they were a crowd favorite. Having won over photographer Bill Landon, students and faculty, flanked by electeds, landed on the front page of the Port Times Record Newspaper.

This nature shop, located on the west end of Kohl’s shopping center, is about to celebrate its third year in business. They have been a loyal member of the Port Jefferson Station/Terryville Chamber of Commerce since their ribbon-cutting grand opening.

Offering backyard bird-centered products and services for customers throughout Suffolk County is second nature to Ramirez. Her parents owned and operated the WBU location in Oakdale until their retirement in 2020. Ramirez, working for them since ’06, bought the store. Decades in the field has honed her appreciation for backyard bird spaces and customer care. As a local bird-feeding expert, Brooke, along with her staff of eight, address the back yard bird feeding needs of customers, making personal deliveries to customers all along the north shore. “Our deliveries allow customers to shop in a way that fits their lifestyle. We want to help facilitate their journey of backyard bird feeding,” says Brooke.

Wild Birds Unlimited, WBU, is a beautiful store for bird feeders, seed and nesting boxes, binoculars and books, artful gifts, lotions and soaps, wind chimes and children’s nature games. Shoppers can get all they need in-person or online. Anyone can sign up for personal texts from Brooke on upcoming presentations and flash sales by texting the two words, ‘East Setauket’ to 855.687.7479. She sends you, ‘just the good stuff’, and this also serves as an opportunity for Brooke to personally answer customer inquiries.

Brooke has donated to our chamber fundraisers, presented at a local library, and offers year round free, public, in-store education series. “WBU is about creating balance in our lives, in our backyards and communities,” said Brooke, “and The Port Jefferson Station/Terryville Chamber of Commerce is active and helpful with that. They are easy to get in touch with and facilitate connections to others for the betterment of the community.”

Connections to those who help make life a little better on Long Island sets Island Federal apart. As a member of Island Federal Credit Union, you’re part of all the good they do. In recent years, they’ve provided close to one million meals to needy Long Islanders through their partnership with Long Island Cares. They have made significant contributions towards the construction of a new Ronald McDonald House on the grounds of Stony Brook Children’s Hospital. They even help find homes for shelter dogs through Last Chance Animal Rescue. “We pride ourselves on our personal service and supporting our friends and neighbors who call Long Island home. It is why we feel so at home with the Port Jefferson Station/Terryville Chamber of Commerce,” added Brett. We, at the CoC, are happy you’re a loyal member.
