Open Door Exchange (ODE), Furnishing Homes, Finding Hope. Established in 2015 as Long Island's first and only furniture bank, ODE is dedicated to providing essential furniture to individuals and families experiencing hardship, crisis, or life transitions—all at no cost. Our mission is to create a supportive community by connecting generous donations of gently used or new furniture to those in need, helping to restore dignity and stability to our Long Island neighbors facing challenging times. Through the power of community, we transform spaces and lives, one piece of furniture at a time. Join us in making a lasting impact on the lives of our neighbors in need.
