We caught up with Brooke Ramirez as she hosted the August member meeting of the Port Jefferson Station/Terryville Chamber of Commerce. Her backyard bird feeding store served as an inviting and colorful backdrop for business networking! Customers flock to her Setauket store, filled with backyard bird products and gifts.
Brooke recently received an award from the Wild Birds Unlimited franchise. The MyWBU Excellence Award recognizes her stores for exceptional performance in integrating online sales/e-commerce into their overall business success. WBU Setauket stands out as one of the top 50, of over 350 store locations. Use of MyWBU, their online shopping platform, has expanded their business tremendously. In lieu of receiving an engraved plaque, Brooke Ramirez, in exceptional form, opted to have the Arbor Day Foundation plant 10 trees in her honor! Well done, Brooke!
Recognition and MyWBU award.
“Online sales are important, giving customers a convenient way to shop; it allows us to, ‘meet them’ where they are. Our personal service is how we fulfill our WBU mission, ‘We bring people and nature together and we do it with excellence.’
Brooke has made Wild Birds Unlimited, a household word. Her network of stores now includes a third location in Syosset. Well done, Brooke !
