Fun, and engaging; Intermezzo Studio on Main Street/Rte 112 provides professional musical, choral and theatrical instruction in style. From piano, guitar and drums, to violin and voice, you’ll find it in Port Jefferson Station. We had the pleasure of listening to members of the Intermezzo Studio youth choir perform at the Port Jefferson Station/Terryville Chamber of Commerce Flag Day. Under the tutelage of Creative director Isabella Scarpa, and instructor Julia Williams, these cherubic tykes belted out The Star-Spangled Banner, This Land is Your Land and other patriotic tunes at the flagpole garden at the Chamber Train Car. Among the festivities, they were a crowd favorite. Having won over photographer Bill Landon, students and faculty, flanked by electeds, landed on the front page of the Port Times Record Newspaper.

A chamber member since September’s grand opening, Isabella Scarpa, owner and creative instructor has attended many of our monthly network meetings. “The Port Jefferson Station/Terryville Chamber of Commerce has provided us with excellent professional and personal connections.
