The Port Jefferson Station/Terryville Chamber tries not to show favoritism but we absolutely love our member, Dr. Carnes and the many services offered at Corretive Chiropractic. Dr.Carnes is part of the Mather Hospital Collaborative Program, with access to medical specialists for improved outcomes. He has been a practicing chiropractor in the Town of Brookhaven for eleven years and opened his Miller Place location six years ago.
This is no ordinary office and has earned the title, ‘Chiro-Spa’, offering a myriad of therapies in a spa setting, such as Aqua Therapy for tight muscles, Well-Wave Therapy to relieve pain associated with scar tissue and functional nutrition support. Their newest Erchonia cold laser equipment is applied to promote self-healing of muscular and skeletal issues including plantar fasciitis, back and shoulder pain and head aches from concussive sports and auto accidents. It has been used to treat brain health issues such as Alzheimer disease.
A key contributor in our community, for the third year in a row, Corrective Chiropractic collected a sleigh full of toys for the Kids Need More non-profit. Dr Carnes dressed as Santa Claus and delivered them to local children diagnosed with cancer. They also sponsor one of the children’s Shelter Island Summer Camps each year. Currently they are participating in a food drive for a local pantry.
