Cumsewogue Historical Society
Through the hard work of the Historical Society’s directors and our local Representatives, our community now has two Brookhaven Town Historic Landmarks;
- Terryville Union Hall – Open on Saturday’s June through October by appointment and for special public events throughout the year. Society President Jack Smith, said “The Terryville Union Hall was an integral part of the community in our past and it will now serve the community as a museum and as a base for local meetings of our Historical Society. The main original benefactor, Thomas Terry would be proud.”
- Gentlemen’s Driving Park – This track is the last surviving member of the 25 Long Island harness racing ovals active in the 1880’s. Read the full story here.
