“No Business Should Fail”
One of the most tenacious members of our business community is Doreen Guma of D. James Marketing, a long-time member of our chamber of commerce and a member of our Board.
D. James Marketing’s success is due to Doreen‘s skills in strategic business planning which she learned through her education and corporate work experience in quality improvement. She is hands on and supports each marketing customer in creating a positive public image, building or re-building a positive reputation, and securing customer satisfaction. Doreen’s motto, ‘no business should fail’ speaks to her perspective on assisting clients fine tune their promotional and marketing needs for them to achieve success.
Doreen is a tremendous asset to the Port Jefferson Station Chamber of Commerce. Her Time to Play foundation (www.timetoplay.org) is an ‘enjoy life’ advocacy non-profit, which focuses on finding solutions to personal and organization challenges. She and husband James are also members of the Red Knights Charity organization and are currently working to collect 7,000 teddy bears for holiday gifts provided by Brookhaven Town Interface.
