It may be true in his case; For chamber member Anthony Amen, owner of Redefine Fitness, there are not enough hours in the day. He opened his first private gym in December of 2018 and immediately joined the Port Jefferson Station/Terryville Chamber of Commerce. He opened a second gym in 2022. You might catch him on his weekly podcast, ‘Health & Fitness Redefined’, or in his role as co-host of the newly formed North Shore Mixer events. You might also find him and his gym members and staff cleaning up the local beach.

Anthony’s business plan was motivated by his health journey after a tragic accident. “I was 20 years old and refused to be discouraged by the prognosis and limitations of mainstream physicians.” He taught himself how to keep the tension migraines at bay through weight lifting, stretching and proper nutrition. “I opened a gym to show others their possibilities and the power they have to attain their goals. Redefine Fitness is an inspirational space with state of the art equipment and nine dedicated trainers. We always begin with a consultation and focus on personal support.”

Last summer Anthony made a presentation at the Port Jefferson Station/Terryville Chamber of Commerce. He held an outdoor gentle fitness and yoga stretch class on the lawn at the train car office. Anthony said the photo of the event, ‘went viral’ and plans to host again in June. “This chamber has always been supportive. They give me the opportunity to highlight my business and network with businesses around me.
